Somehow it is now February, which means I have completed my first monthly reading theme, which was finish some partially read books.
All and all, I think I did a pretty good job with this theme, particularly in the first half of the month.
The first book I finished was The Complete Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi. I read part one of this book back 2018, I think, but then took a break. A very long break. No idea why, because it is a great read and I immediately followed it up by watching the also amazing animated film.
Next up was My Lady’s Choosing by Kitty Curran and Larissa Zageris. This is a romance choose your own adventure book, so it was a bit hard to determine at what point I had “finished” it. But I knew I wanted to try out a few more endings and so I have now done that. It’s a very fun and delightful read.
I ended by finishing my favourite non-fiction book for 2019, Young & Damned & Fair by Gareth Russell and also finished my re-read of the manga series Honey and Clover by Chica Umino.
All and all, I’m very happy with how this month turned out, particularly because, at least for now, I am two books ahead for my Goodreads 2020 Challenge.
And now onto February, the month of romance!
