As mentioned in my previous post, I participated in the 24in48 Readathon over the weekend. And while I didn’t get through my entire stack – mainly because I had to do some work around the house on Sunday and didn’t get much reading in – I made good progress, reading the following:
- Princess Jellyfish, volumes 5-7: This is one of my favourite manga series and I am very excited to that much closer to finally finishing it (only two volumes left!). If you haven’t checked it out, I highly recommend it.
- The Very Worst Missionary (audio): I only had about 20 minutes left in this audiobook, but I am still very happy to have finished it. It was a very interesting look at missionary work and why it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.
- Inheritance (audio): This book just came out and as soon as I read about its premise, I knew I had to read it. I love stories about secret families and surprise reunions, so it’s no surprise I made it through the entire audiobook in only a couple of days.
All and all, it was a very successful weekend! And I plan to keep working on my pile as the week goes on, because I would like to get more caught up with some of the on-going (and especially the finished) manga and graphic novel series that I’ve been following.
